On behalf of Wakefield Arts Partnership, we worked with the National Coal Mining Museum for England to explore how Wakefield’s hidden geological coal seams have impacted the visible landscape and the social lives of the people who live in the area.

During the project, we worked with visitors to the Mining Museum, at Wakefield ArtWalk and at Wakefield Arts Partnership's Hidden Wakefield event to create and tour a map of the District which grows to encompass participant's memories of Wakefield's underground past.
