South Kirkby & Moorthorpe Creative Summer School

During summer 2022, artists Bev Adams, Charlie Wells and Tony Wade spent a week with young people in South Kirkby, creating a unique performance using the history of their area alongside personal stories and recollections from local people. They used shadow puppetry, physical theatre, music, prop making and visual arts to tell their stories for an invited audience of family and friends. Edgelands hope to return next summer for more creative summer fun.
