Walking Mind
A project with Spectrum People, funded by Creative Minds and Arts Council Creative Recovery Funding, aiming to connect people by exploring local green spaces though sensory walks followed by group and individual creative activities.
Using photography, sound recording, silk painting, collage, poetry and creative conversations we worked with families achieving change together and people who were socially prescribed to the project on the Airedale Senses projects at The Hut in Airedale and Tieve Tara Medical Centre in Ferry Fryston. We also worked with individuals and men dealing with addiction from Reflections House at Fryston Country Trails. The results became silk paintings, a 3d immersive installation with soundscape, collage posters and collaborative poems. Some of which can be seen here.
