HARRISON'S WOOD
Visual Artist, Tony Wade, worked with communities and visitors to National Trust's Nostell Estate in Foulby near Wakefield to create 5 wall hangings celebrating Foulby born master clock maker and inventor of the martime chronometer, John Harrison.
The project aimed to engage visitors with the impressive collections at Nostell and complement the present installation commissioned by the National Trust called Harrison's Garden by Luke Jerram, a ticking art installation of 2,000 clocks.
