Our Cultural Heart Kirklees

​In March 2025 Tony Wade worked with participants in a range of venues in Huddersfield as part of the Kirklees Libraries, Our Cultural Heart Festival, creating silk paintings of local buildings as part of the ongoing consultations over the MakerSpaces in Kirklees Libraries. Working in spaces such as the Lawrence Batley Theatre, participants painted images on silk under Tony's guidance learning new textiles techniques in group workshops.
