Working with composer Charlie Wells, Edgelands Arts explored WW1 poetry and songs with local people from Wakefield as inspiration for 3 banners which formed a backdrop to a newly composed song cycle for string quartet, 3 soloists and community choir. The song cycle was composed using verbatim testimony and family letters from WW1 along with poetry written by women.

The premier performance took place in Wakefield Cathedral where the banners remained in exhibition for two weeks.
