Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, during 2020 we worked with the Action Mix Group at Lightwaves Community Centre in Wakefield exploring a variety of activities including silk painting, music and storytelling. The project culminated in the production of a wall hanging, a poem written by the group and a song which was due to be performed at Dewsbury Minster prior to lockdown in March 2020. Instead, the work was shared privately amongst the group  and the wall hanging presented to them at Lightwaves, where they regularly meet.
