Inspired by Charles Waterton, the Victorian naturalist, explorer and eccentric, the Fan-Samba-Gorical Parade was a walking parade co-created with the community of Horbury, comprising fantastical creatures, colourful headresses and a specially created samba band, made of the local community. Commissioned by the Cluntergate Centre in Horbury thanks to funding from the local Cooperative Community Fund.
