PATHWAYS & RAILWAYS

This project, funded by a Cultures Cures grant from Wakefield Council, enabled us to work extensively with communities in Fitzwilliam and Kinsley in South East Wakefield.

​

We worked alongside the Community Anchor in the area, Kinsley and Fitzwilliam Resource Centre, and with the Friends of Fitzwilliam Train Station to create new art works and signage which reflects the rich heritage of the area past and present.

​

Northern Rail worked with us to print and install the artworks on their footbridge at Fitzwiliam Station.

The art works were created as part of a year-long programme of youth and community engagement in the area.
